What to steal
- 01One block can live in many channels. A saved thing doesn't need a single home — that alone makes a collection worth keeping.
- 02No likes, no feed, no recommendations. Collecting stays private work that you may choose to show.
- 03Text-first grid: the interface is a thin frame and everything visible is somebody's content.
- 04Channels are named like sentences, and the naming is the thinking.
Notes
The prior art for this page. Are.na got the model right — the unit is a block, the container is a channel, and a block can belong to several.
The reason I'm building my own instead: I want the enrichment (palette, type, what to steal) to live next to the link, in files I own, in the repo that also builds the sites this feeds.
