Rauno Freiberg

A portfolio that documents its own seams — interaction craft, written down.

What to steal

  1. 01Monospace for metadata and labels, proportional type for prose — the two registers do the hierarchy work that colour usually does.
  2. 02The hover and focus states are the content. Every element rewards a cursor, which is the whole argument of the site.
  3. 03Craft notes are published as a list of small, named details, so the invisible work becomes browsable.
  4. 04Restraint as a signature: near-monochrome, one blue, and motion measured in a few frames.

Notes

The site argues its own case: you cannot claim to care about interaction and ship a static page. Everything responds, and nothing shouts.

The part worth copying is not the palette but the habit — writing down the tiny decisions (a transition curve, a focus ring, where a tooltip anchors) as publishable notes rather than leaving them in the code.
